Islamic Nation Anthems with the word "Motherland" or "Mother"
The Muslim viewpoint is that Islam, being a monotheist religion, forbids the apotheosis of any deity, animate or inanimate, except God, the supreme creator.
However, there are several Islamic countries in the world that have the word Motherland or Mother mentioned in their National Anthems. I googled for National Anthems and was able to find 10 countries that refer to their land as Motherland or Mother.

I don't see any fuss in singing "Vande Mataram" in India.
When the likes of AR Rahman, Ustad Bismillah Khan, Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan etc. and our brave freedom fighters like Ashfaqullah Khan, Maghfoor Ahmed, Shahnawaz Khan, Maulana Azad, Ramprasad Bismil, and Allama Iqbal sang Vande Mataram - Then what's the fuss all about ?
We used to sing Vande Mataram every single day in our schools. Muslims, Hindus, Christians, Jains etc. used to sing without any fuss.
If anyone doesn’t want to sing Vande Mataram, he/she can not be forced to do so. If it were the National Anthem, I would have seen it differently. Singing the national song should be a proud moment for each and every one of us Indians but it is not exclusive. Just by singing national song , one doesn’t become a proud Indian.
